Popular browser add-ons caught stealing crypto, private data, and web history
Several browser add-ons offered through the Chrome and Edge extension stores were found collecting sensitive information, including cryptocurrency wallet details, browsing activity, and other personal data. Some also showed misleading prompts designed to trick people into taking unsafe actions.
