Who is at risk
Current or former AssuranceAmerica customers, applicants, or others whose information was handled by the company in those seven states are most at risk.
What to watch for
Watch for unexpected bills, insurance-related messages, account notices, or signs that someone is trying to use your personal information.
What to do
If you may be affected, review any notice from AssuranceAmerica, monitor your financial and insurance accounts closely, and place a fraud alert or credit freeze if sensitive personal information was involved.
