New ClickLock Stealer locks your Mac until you hand over your password
A new threat targeting Mac computers can freeze the screen and trick people into entering their Mac password. If someone gives it that password, the attacker may be able to keep access to the computer and steal personal information later.

Mac users are most at risk, especially anyone who installs unfamiliar apps, opens unexpected downloads, or enters their password after a sudden screen lock or alarming pop-up.

What to do
If this happens, do not enter your password, disconnect from the internet, restart your Mac, remove any recently installed unfamiliar apps, and change your Mac password from a trusted device.
