⚠️ LastPass Advisory
LastPass says hackers stole some personal customer details and support case records through a breach involving one of its service providers. This could give criminals useful information to send convincing fake emails, texts, or calls that appear to be related to your account.
Who is at risk
LastPass customers, especially anyone who recently contacted customer support or shared personal details in a support case, are most at risk.
What to watch for
Watch for unexpected messages, calls, or emails claiming to be from LastPass or asking you to click a link, share account information, or reset passwords.
What to do
If you use LastPass, change your master password immediately, turn on extra sign-in protection if available, and do not respond to messages about your account unless you contact the company directly through its official website.
