The truth about Roblox password finder tools and why you should be careful
This article explains that so-called "Roblox password finder" browser add-ons do not actually reveal anyone’s password and are often used to trick people into giving away access to their own accounts or installing something harmful. It warns that these tools prey on curiosity and can lead to stolen accounts, lost in-game items, or broader problems on a person’s device.
Who is at risk
Roblox players, especially kids, teens, and parents who install browser add-ons or visit sites claiming they can recover, reveal, or unlock someone’s Roblox password, are most at risk.
What to watch for
Watch for browser add-ons, websites, or videos promising to show Roblox passwords, free Robux, account recovery shortcuts, or asking you to sign in outside the official Roblox site.
What to do
Remove any suspicious browser add-ons, change your Roblox password immediately, turn on extra login protection, and only sign in through the official Roblox website or app.
